We traveled to the idyllic island of Langkawi to shoot the wedding of Hiap Wei and Geraldine at the Four Seasons Hotel and Resort. The day started with a traditional pick up the bride and games which was held around the Royal Villa. The wedding ceremony was then held close to sunset on the beach front. Arkema Thiochemicals is a newly opened chemical plant in Kerteh, Terengganu. They approached us to shoot their safety video for visitors to watch before entering the plant.
It was quite challenging shooting in a chemical plant as it was potentially highly hazardous area. The Three Libra crew had to don full personal protective equipment to be around the plant. This meant shooting while in full flame retardant clothing, safety glasses, helmet and slinging along an escape mask.
Shooting an industrial structure turned out to be unexpectedly interesting. On film the intertwined pipes and tubes looked chaotic yet ordered and intricate.

We then proceeded back to Tropicana for the tea ceremony. Ruth, being from Taiwan, had most of her families and friends come for the wedding on the day. It was a very emotional day especially for Ruth's mother whom was visibly moved by the days events.
After we moved on to the format ceremony held at the Zamrud Room at Saujana Resort where the couple had exchanged their vows cementing their nuptial agreements.
This SDE was done within 2.5 hours in between the wedding ceremony and the dinner reception. It is one of the quickest SDE's we ever had to prepare yet!
